We cultivate 25 acres of vineyards on our estate, situated on the slopes of the Valle Serena and on the hills nearby. First established in 2014, our vineyards are part of our long-term vision at Borgo Santo Pietro to create a flourishing self-sustainable estate.
Planted with a density of 6250 plants per hectare to ensure high-quality wine, our red and rosè wine crop consists largely of Sangiovese, with the addition of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Pinot Noir. White wine grapes under cultivation include Trebbiano Toscano, Chardonnay and Viognier. In 2018, our vineyards will be ready for their first harvest.
